GRAN ASADO ARGENTINO 2014 PDF Print E-mail

The Asado is the Anglo-Argentine Society’s main fundraising event and relies on members and friends to make it the unique occasion it is: catch up with old friends, meet new ones, and enjoy the many aspects of a traditional Argentine barbecue and entertainment.

This year APARU is also supporting this fantastic event and proceeds from tickets sold by APARU will benefit our current projects: "La Doble Ayuda" and "Hombre Nuevo".

The day includes: a traditional Argentine asado menu including delicious Argentine beef, spit-roasted lamb, Argentine chorizos (served as the traditional Chori-pan), morcilla (black pudding), chicken, a variety of salads, fruit, coffee and this year a glass of wine is included for every adult.

There will be a bar selling a selection of fine Argentine wines, beer and soft drinks, as well as a number of stalls offering a range of Argentine products including favourites such as alfajores, empanadas, dulce de leche and ice cream.

But it is not all just about food and drink! There will be plenty of entertainment including live music, tango dancers, singers, the now legendary Luis Segas, and the customary impromptu football match on the fields of Esher RFC.

Ticket Prices: £36 for Adults | £25 for 13-25 years old |  Free for Under 13s (**Please note that APARU ticket prices include a £6 donation for our projects).

Thanks and we look forward to seeing you!
