APARU has become a strong and respected voice of the Argentine community in the United Kingdom. Our members have a deep connection with Argentina, either by birth, family history, personal links or academic and professional interests.
All members of APARU - of all ages and at different stages of their professional careers- are encouraged to help in the association’s activities and projects according to their areas of expertise, as well as to join different workgroups within the organisation.
APARU has also become a point of contact and guidance for newcomers, and regularly assists and provides information to many who decide to emigrate from Argentina to the UK.
The ethos of the association is two-folded, with a professional aim alongside a charitable mission. APARU is in a position to engage notable and committed Argentine residents in the UK as well as to attract and mobilise a large non-Argentine audience to support numerous fundraising projects and participate in charitable events, with a shared goal: to help disadvantaged communities in Argentina.
As a result, since its foundation in April 2002, APARU has donated thousands of pounds to over 20 organisations in Argentina.
